Lemon Tart


Assalamualaikum..

Well today nak share recipe Lemon Tart ni...sy baru jer siap baking and decorate ngan whip cream...and dah try sekeping!sedap!sweet sour gitu..tak sia-sia ber'perang' ngan ammar..budak ni nak dukung jer kejenyer..kalo xdukung pon kene ade depan mata die..alik2 sy bwk mixer masuk kat ruang tamu..kat depan2 die jugak sy buat..barula diam 5 menet...hehe

LEMON TART RECIPE

  • Crust:
  • 1 cup (130 grams) all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (35 grams) confectioners (powdered or icing) sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (113 grams) cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

  • Lemon Filling:
  • 5 ounces (140 grams) cream cheese, room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated white sugar (i used icing sugar)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh lemon juice(i used 2medium sized lemon,jgn byk sgt,mashammm)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest(outer lemon skin)

  • Topping:
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy whipping cream(i used Philadelphia brand))
  • 2 tablespoons (20 grams) confectioners sugar (i used icing sugar)


METHOD

Shortbread Crust:Butter or lightly spray with a nonstick vegetable cooking spray, an 8 - 9 inch (20 - 23 cm) tart pan with a removable bottom

In your food processor, place the flour, sugar, and salt and process to combine. Add the butter and pulse until the pastry starts to come together and form clumps. Place the pastry in the prepared tart pan and, using your fingertips, evenly press the pastry onto the bottom and up the sides of the pan. (Can use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface of the pastry.) Pierce the bottom of the crust with the tines of a fork. (This will prevent the pastry crust from puffing up while it bakes.) Cover and place the pastry crust in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill. (This will help prevent the crust from shrinking while it bakes.)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven.

When the pastry is completely chilled, place the tart pan on a larger baking sheet and bake until the crust is golden brown, about 13 -15 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool while you make the filling.

Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees (177 degrees C).

Lemon Filling:In a food processor or electric mixer, place the cream cheese and process until smooth. Add sugar and process until incorporated. Add the eggs and process until thoroughly combined. Add the lemon juice and zest and process until well blended and smooth. Pour filling into pre baked tart shell and bake for approximately 25 - 30 minutes or until filling is set. Transfer tart to a wire rack to cool and then cover and refrigerate until well chilled, at least an hour.

Topping: Put your mixing bowl and whisk in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Then beat the whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Can just spread the whipped cream over the filling or transfer the whipped cream to a pastry bag fitted with star tip (#1M), and pipe stars over the entire surface of the tart. Refrigerate until serving time.

So,its show time babeh..haha ni i punyer version..sila jangan gelak..walaupon tak indah di mata tapi indah diperut...haha CHILL!!

mari naik kuda

Assalamualaikum...

Tajuk entry tak leh bla kan..hehe
Alkisahnyer si kakak ni lar terjatuh gara2 nak naik kuda mainan dalam pagar nursery depan umah kitorang ni hah...manela boleh masuk nak oi...lainla ibu kamu ni keje mmg kompem ibu campak jer kamu masuk dalam tu..huhu

So ayahnyer kesiannn pulak nengok anak dara die ni sorang..so terus angkut anak bini die ni g IOI Punchong p main kuda..haha bukan kuda betol tau..kitorang main yg kuda pusing2 tu hah..ape namenyer entah..horses go round ek..suke2 hati jer letak name...so terserlah la muke riang kakak walopun agak nebes awalnyer tu..tengok2!

very the tempting peach crunch cake!

Assalamualaikum all the bloggers...arini rajin pulak nak mengupdate blog yang dah bersawang ni hah..arini malas nak masak lunch..breakfast tadi konyang lagi ni hah...pagi ni pulak terlebih rajin nak buat dessert bagai..wakakaka

Oh ya..arini besday my little sister..her 23rd bestday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIK NGAH!!moga Cik Ngah cepat2 kawen yer...hehe

Ok..benornyer yang semangat sangat nak update ni sbb nak share my dessert this morning...sangat yummeh okay!tak tahan!!!ekeke actually i took this recipe from one of the blogger which everytime she posted something air liur kompem meleleh punyer..huhu

Tak caye?tengok ni??




Ok2...dah2!sila lap air liur masing2 sekarang!hahaha



Btw recipe ni very the simple...all u need are just Peach in syrup,Butter,Yellow Cake Mix,Brown Sugar,Nuts (Pecan,Walnuts or ape2 jenis kacang yg anda suke..i used Almond..guna jer ape yang ade...:)

Details below yaw..

Peach Crunch Cake

24.5 oz jar of sliced peaches in light syrup
1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Layer ingredients in a 13 X 9 dish, in order starting with the peaches.
Bake for about 40 minutes.
Serve warm or cold… with or without ice cream.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

Hai auntiesss...today is Ana's birthday!!hehe

Well, my daughter is already 2 years old today..and she's getting super genius, super brilliant and super gorgeous day by day!InsyaAllah...sempena birthday anak ibu ni, ibu doakan semoga anak ibu sentiasa di bawah perlindungan Allah swt, dipanjangkan umur untuk menjaga ibu dan ayah di hari tua kelak dan sentiasa dimurahkan rezeki untuk membantu golongan2 yang memerlukan dan dapat berbakti di jalan-Nya...

Sometimes i just can't believe i've been a mother to a 2 yrs old kid..kadang2 fikir diri terlalu muda untuk dipertanggungjawabkan dengan amanah yang begitu besar..coz kadang2 honestly mmg kesabaranku tercabar dengan berbagai pe'el dan ragamnyer..tapi tular die kan...dats a challenge as a mother dan itulah yang mematangkan kite..mak2 kite pon dulu camtu jugak,,tapi elok jer kite membesar sampai sekarang..hehhe so please appreciate your mother coz everytime my kids buat hal it makes me appreciate my mother even more..

Btw sekarang ni tengah busy dengan preparation untuk celebrate her birthday this Friday kat Port Dickson..just a small celebration between families..dats all for now..nak survey party packs jap!seeya!
